    Approximately 40 miles west of Colorado Springs (20 miles from Woodland Park). Just a few minutes from the spectacular trout waters of Eleven Mile Canyon and The Dream Stream near Eleven Mile Reservoir. Where the Middle Fork of the South Platte River runs through Lake George, CO. Our "cabin" (Vacation Home) is nestled on the Southwest slope of majestic Crystal Peak. Elev. 9100 ft.

    Activities
    Most guests comment on the peaceful seclusion of this quiet get-away. But many enjoy it's proximity to fly-fishing, rock climbing, hunting, boating, hiking, and off-road recreation. Some of the only rental lodging in the middle of Pike National Forest, The Retreat is cozy enough for a couple to have that special time together, but big enough for family reunions or corporate team retreats.

    Atmosphere :
    The cabin is nestled among aspen, fir, and pines, secluded and quiet on 5 acres. It is very tastefully decorated in a Mountain décor. The cabin faces the south/southwest, so you will enjoy magnificent sunsets and wonderful views from the living area, all bedrooms, and the large wrap around deck.

    Retreat Size: 2500 sq. ft.

    Beds and Sleeping: Four Bedrooms, plus living room, loft, and "cave."
    1 King and child's bed, 1 Queen, 1 Full futon with twin bunk and twin trundle, and 2 twins in (game)/bed room. Full futon (in loft). Queen sofa sleeper in living room. Full futon in "cave" (no window.) Accommodates ten very comfortably.

    Bathroom : Two Full with shower. One full with tub/shower.
    Kitchen(s): Main kitchen fully equipped. Efficiency kitchen in basement.
    Electric: Standard electric power
    Heat : Forced Air (Propane), and wood stove in living room.
    Water: Well

    All new furnishings and linens. Vaulted ceilings. Huge windows with views of several mountain ranges. Washer/dryer. Darts, Foosball, Horseshoes, and various table games.

  • Pricing and Reservations

    May through September (High Season)
    $185/night plus $10 per additional person more than two, up to a maximum of 10 guests. Minimum two night stay.

    October through April (Low Season)
    $170/night plus $10 per additional person more than two, up to a maximum of 10 guests. Minimum two night stay.

    A $100 non-refundable reservation/cleaning deposit is required to hold your booking.

    A Security Deposit of $500 is required. If the cabin and it’s contents are found to be in acceptable condition following the guest’s departure, the amount will be refunded. If damage or loss are experienced, repairs and replacement costs will be deducted from the Security Deposit.

  • Restrictions

    No Smoking or Pets allowed. The Retreat is designed and appointed for adult use. Not recommended for children.
